
Hi, I’m Gabby and I am a self-titled African food connoisseur. As soon as I was tall enough to reach the stove, I was in the kitchen helping my mom cook dinner and assisting my aunties prepare meals for large family gatherings. I studied culinary arts in high school and deepened my knowledge of Africana studies at university.
This blog unites my passions for Pan-African history, art and culture into one platform. My experiences are shaped by my upbringing in a Senegalese household.
